NHCRWA changes officers effective immediately

The following represent the new positions.

Melissa Rowell, District 3 Director – President
Kelly Fessler, District 5 Director – Vice President
Ron Graham, District 1 Director – Secretary
David Barker, District 2 Director – Treasurer
Mark Ramsey, District 4 Director – Director 

An unexpected change in the NHCRWA leadership occurred at last night’s meeting in front of a packed house. Calls for a leadership change have been growing for months now from many of the regular attendees. A fresh start is appropriate and well over due. We wish the new leadership success! We encourage our NHCRWA representatives to work together to become better board members by listening and learning to work with each other and staff in a cooperative constructive manner. Eliminate bitterness and individual agendas to help create strong relationships built on trust and respect. Listen to dissenting viewpoints with an open mind. Find common ground when possible and build consensus through persuasion and solid arguments supporting one’s position.

The next North Harris County Regional Water Authority Board of Directors meeting, open to the public, will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 6pm at the Authority’s Office, 3648 Cypress Creek Pkwy., Suite 110, Houston, TX 77068.

The agenda for the meeting is available on the Authority’s website: www.nhcrwa.com.

The Authority will also broadcast this meeting via Zoom Webinar. You must register to view and/or listen to the meeting by registering at https://tinyurl.com/yc2mb77v. Upon registration, a telephone number to listen to the meeting, a link to watch the meeting, and a password will be provided. People viewing/listening to the meeting on Zoom will NOT be able to address the Board during the meeting.
