Governing A Growing Region: Addressing Challenges of Service Provision and Development in Houston

 

Good Morning Everyone,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Water Users Coalition members for their support at the AWBD conference in San Antonio. I was elected as an AWBD Trustee at Large and will hold the office of Secretary. While I am proud to serve my fellow AWBD members this victory is bitter sweet. Mr. Bob Lux, whom I greatly respect, has served the past few years as the AWBD Gulf Coast Regional Trustee, was not reelected. Bob has done a tremendous service for the AWBD membership over his tenure and will be missed. Should you have an opportunity, please reach out to Bob and give him a well-deserved thank you for all of his efforts and encourage him to stay engaged on our behalf. Thanks to all the candidates for stepping up and giving their time. I pledge to all that I will work hard to represent the water district community’s best interests.
