Notice of Meeting

This is a very important issue for the MUDs and AWBD! 

Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Water Users Coalition will hold a meeting at the Harris County FWSD 61 Administration building, located at 13205 Cypress N. Houston, Cypress N. Houston, Texas, 77429

The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017.

     7:00 – 7:15      Meet and Greet, refreshments will be available.

     7:15 – 7:30      Announcements & introductions, WUC advisory council and our
                            special guest Mark Adam, Bob Lux and Bill Fry who all serve on
                            the AWBD Board of Directors and on the AWBD committee for
                            Flood Control and Drainage.

     7:30 – 8:30      An informative discussion on Harris County’s efforts to “Cost Share
                            and/or Partnership” with the MUDs to include both storm water
                            management and flood control.  (Expanding the role of municipal utility
                            districts. If your local MUD isn’t doing much about preventing flooding,
                            Emmett thinks that needs to change, that their responsibilities should
                            include both storm water management and flood control in cooperation
                            with the flood control district.)
