| Earlier this year the legislature passed SB 28 to create the Texas Water Fund, subject to voter approval. On the November ballot, under Proposition 6, voters will have the opportunity to unlock the one-billion-dollar legislative appropriation for loans and grants to finance water supply development, infrastructure repair, water conservation projects, and water awareness. If approved, the new Texas Water Fund would be administered by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB).
