Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Water Users Coalition will hold a meeting at the North Harris County Regional Water Authority, located at 3648 FM 1960 West Ste. 110 Houston, Texas 77068
The meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
10:00 – 10:15 Meet & Greet (Introductions)
10:15 – 10:30 Reuse policy development – update (Mark Evans)
10:30 – 11:15 Development of a water quality notification policy (Alert system)
- Current notification – Standard Operating Procedures (Tom Rolen & Carlton McDevitt)
- General discussion of notification process in practical application
- Develop Ideas to enhance notification process
11:15 – 11:30 Ground water well usage – Frequency
- Current NHCRWA (well run time) request
- Open discussion – associated operational problems with minimum run time of wells.
11:30 – 11:45 PH issues at Wastewater facilities receiving surface water
11:45 – 12:00 General discussion of future meeting topics
Harris County Fresh Water Supply District # 61 would like to express our sincere appreciation to the water operations community for attending the Water Users Coalition Operations Meeting. This Operations meeting will give operators an opportunity to network in real time. We will exchange ideas and thoughts on where we may be able to improve operational interaction between MUDs and The North Harris County Regional Water Authority.
