Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Water Users Coalition will hold a meeting at the Cypress United Methodist Church (Ministry Activity Center) located at 13403 Cypress N. Houston Rd, Cypress, Texas 77429
The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014.
7:00 – 7:15 Meet and greet
7:15 – 7:30 Introductions, mission statement and objectives
7:30 – 8:00 Educate and discuss public water issues related to water districts (MUDs) and regional water authorities (NHCRWA). Guest Speaker: Sara Anderson with Smith, Murdaugh, Little & Bonham, LLP.
8:00 – 8:15 Questions and answers
8:15 – 8:30 Meet the candidates seeking election for District 1 with the North Harris County Regional Water Authority.(Election Information)
Harris County Fresh Water Supply District # 61 would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Cypress community and the many MUD districts for all of the support that we have received in the forming of the Water Users Coalition. Please consider attending this meeting as a show of solidarity, as we work together to build a stronger representation for the stakeholders within the North Harris County Regional Water Authority.
